Job Description
We are currently looking to hire a General Technician II/Structures Technician III to support the Structures Lab with fabrication, installation and support of sensors on test articles for various aircraft and non-aircraft platforms. This technician will perform general engineering support functions and will assist more senior Engineering Techs and Engineers on projects.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Three to five years' minimum relevant experience required
- For wiring, electronics, and instrumentation duties, must obtain (and subsequently maintain) IPC/WHMA-A-620 certification within 60 days
- Basic knowledge of electronics, small circuits, and general tool use preferred
- Basic computer skills, focusing on MS Office, would be a plus in this role
- Ability to work well with people
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds unassisted
- Current Driver’s License required
- U.S. Citizenship required and you must be able to obtain a U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance prior to start date and maintain a Secret clearance throughout employment
