- General knowledge of systems installation requirements
- Installation of conduit and cabling
- Installation of system equipment enclosures
- Network hardware installation & configuration
- Installation of MNS, VMS, IDS, and ACS control panels
- Electrical power requirements
- NEC and NFPA (general knowledge)
- BICSI (general knowledge)
- Producing and submitting required documentation
- Up to 75% travel for system installations, repairs, and maintenance
