Job Description
Tagup is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to join their team in Salt Lake City. The role involves developing, training, and deploying AI solutions to support mission-critical operations, focusing on models and infrastructure that deliver improvements in reliability, efficiency, and performance. The company is a defense AI company combining AI with expert knowledge to revolutionize military logistics.
Requirements
- 4+ years of machine learning experience
- Strong Python skills and proficiency in PyTorch or TensorFlow
- Hands-on experience deploying ML models into production
- Experience with MLOps tools like Kubernetes, MLflow, and CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and tools such as Terraform or Ansible
- Familiarity with datastores (MySQL, Postgres, or MongoDB) and prior exposure to aviation, defense, or other safety-critical environments
