Senior Medical Director, Clinical Science -Solid Tumor

Join Takeda as a Senior Medical Director, Clinical Science - Solid Tumor in our Cambridge office. This role will be a vital contributor to our inspiring, bold mission. The Senior Medical Director leads and drives strategy for the overall global clinical development taking into consideration the medical, scientific, regulatory and commercial issues for multiple Takeda pipeline compounds.

Requirements

• MD or internationally recognized equivalent
• 7 years of clinical research experience within the pharmaceutical industry, CRO health-related consulting company, or biomedical/clinical experience within academia
• 3-4 years of late phase clinical development experience
• Training and Experience in Hematology/ Oncology and/or Medical Oncology especially in solid tumor malignancies is highly preferred
• Experience in conducting and/or leading clinical trials in involving immune based therapies and/or antibody drug conjugates is highly preferred
• Previous experience successfully leading a clinical development team/matrix team with responsibility for studies in multiple regions
• Development experience beyond US/EU a plus
• NDA/MAA/Submission experience preferred
• Excellent communication and influencing skills
• Experience with and demonstrated ability to lead and manage highly trained medical, scientific and technical professionals
