Operations Analyst

Our client, an alternative asset management firm in NYC, is seeking an Operations Analyst to support daily operations, middle-and back-office functions, and trade lifecycle management.

Requirements

• Monitor and support the trade lifecycle across asset classes
• Perform daily position, cash, and P&L reconciliations
• Investigate and resolve trade breaks, settlement discrepancies, and cash variances
• Monitor margin and collateral requirements
• Assist with month-end NAV review packages
• Maintain accurate internal trade, pricing, and valuation records
• Support operational initiatives, data integrity projects, and workflow improvements
• Assist in the preparation and review of financial statements
• Support the annual audit and tax return processes
• Track and reconcile capital activity, investor statements, and fund expenses
• Maintain accurate accounting and tax records
• Support data gathering and filings for regulatory reports
• Review and monitor trade allocations to ensure adherence to compliance procedures
