Job Description
This position will be responsible for all revenue accounting activities at Talos Energy, including preparing monthly accruals, recording sales and post-productions costs, and reconciling receivables.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience in an oil and gas company
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- Understands production allocations and general accounting principles
- Possesses a conceptual understanding of royalty compliance for federal offshore leases
- Experience interpreting and applying oil & gas sales contracts
- Able to perform detailed work with speed and accuracy
- Strong analytical skills and deductive reasoning
