Job Description
Talos is seeking a Backend Software Engineering Intern to join their Dealer team for the Summer 2026. The intern will contribute to a critical project related to high-performance trading systems, enhancing algorithmic capabilities and adding features to existing infrastructure. Requirements
- Class of 2027 pursuing a degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proficiency in at least one compiled language (e.g., Go, C++, Java)
- At least one previous internship involving working on backend systems in a production environment, preferably in a user-facing context
- Knowledge of relational databases (e.g Postgres)
- Detail-oriented, self driven, analytical, and enthusiastic about working on impactful projects
- Strong communication skills, with an ability to convey technical concepts clearly
- Ability to work autonomously as well as a part of a collaborative team environment
- Energetic, creative, and a self-starter who can manage tasks autonomously
