Job Description
The Tooling Technician ensures machinery is set up, works properly, and conforms with company quality, quantity, and efficiency standards, with responsibilities including daily maintenance, upkeep and repair of all dies, fixtures and tools, and maximizing rotation and machine up time efficiency.
Requirements
- Part number reading
- Job reading
- Reading of measurement tools
- Extrusion operation
- Forklift certificate
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Experience working with machine tools and powered machine tools
- Knowledge of basic electrical
- Good communication and judgement skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Standing, lifting, bending
- Driving a forklift
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
