Job Description
A leader in the food and beverage industry is seeking an Android developer to build new features and scale the product. The role involves designing, building, and maintaining Android apps in a fast-paced and dynamic team environment.
Requirements
- Design, build and maintain Android apps written in Java and Android Studio.
- Communicate with the product team to design new features and provide updates on development progress.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science
- 5+ years of experience in developing native apps in a production setting using both Kotlin and Java
- Understanding of memory management as it pertains to runtime on a mobile device
- Understanding of /and ideally experience developing Android SDK for integration into 3rd party apps
- Understanding of API integration within an Android mobile app
- Understanding of Android material design concepts; experience with transitions and animations
- Android development with both Kotlin and Java
- Organization and multitasking skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
