Director of Product Engineering - Tax Filing

Taxfix is seeking a Director of Product Engineering to lead their engineering teams responsible for mobile and web tax filing products. The successful candidate will have 10+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles. They will be responsible for defining the technical architecture and product engineering strategy, leading high-performance teams, and driving commercial priorities.

Requirements

• 10+ years in software engineering
• 5+ years in senior engineering leadership roles
• Proven track record of building and operating high-scale B2C or B2B2C platforms
• Deep hands-on system design and architecture experience
• Experience in architecting and scaling AI/ML-powered features
• Strong commercial orientation
• Exceptional communication and influencing skills
• Experience managing distributed teams in a hybrid environment
