Requirements
- Possess strong knowledge of PLC-controlled machines (such as Allen Bradley).
- Be skilled at diagnosing issues with PLC systems.
- Work independently to resolve equipment breakdowns.
- Apply critical thinking and engineering principles effectively.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all plant apparatus, including safety mechanisms and various technical systems.
- Perform electrical work on systems ranging from low voltage up to 480 Volt, 3-phase industrial setups.
- Take responsibility for minimizing machine downtime.
- Propose and implement equipment improvements.
- Calibrate or adjust machinery to uphold production quality.
- Use programmable logic controllers to diagnose and fix equipment problems.
- Efficiently log preventive maintenance tasks and keep department records up to date using company software (e.g., SAP).
- Keep workspaces, tools, and equipment clean according to 5S standards.
- Identify and support ongoing initiatives to cut costs and boost productivity without sacrificing effectiveness.
