STAMPING OPERATOR I

TE Connectivity is seeking a Stamping Operator I to join our team in Jonestown, PA. As a Stamping Operator, you will operate assigned automated stamping machinery, ensure component flow, troubleshoot and correct machinery issues to ensure quality and productivity. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma/GED and experience in a manufacturing environment.

Requirements

• Performing scheduled maintenance, troubleshooting the assigned automated stamping machinery, and correcting machinery issues to ensure quality and productivity.
• Unloading, packing the parts for shipment, removing, clearing the scrap from the press as required, and accurately documenting the number of parts and their specifications.
• Maintaining a safe work environment, following the standard operating procedures, regulations regarding hazardous material, and other safety regulations for the machines and equipment.
• Supporting periodic inspections and tests to evaluate the condition of different machine parts; sharing critical feedback with engineers and supervisors.
• Making stock changes and stock dies
• Assisting in setting up auxiliary equipment needed to run presses
• Removing jams and performing minor die repair work
