Requirements
- Typically, Infrastructure Consultants will have a background in technical infrastructure implementation and support, progressing to manage technical individuals and led solution design and architecture definition engagements.
- Extensive Pre-Sales experience and commercial propositions development.
- In-depth knowledge in one of the following areas: Consolidation, Virtualization, Utility Computing, Cloud Services, Workplace Transformation, Server Storage Consolidation and Maturity Improvement.
- Experience of data centre, server and end user computing infrastructure functions, processes and technologies in a heterogeneous and dynamic environment.
- Business case creation and TCO assessment, Service Oriented Infrastructure (SOI), Cloud, Green and Sustainable IT, Technology strategies and road-maps, Workplace transformation, Virtual desktop Data Centres, Data centre migration and consolidation, Business continuity and disaster recovery planning, High availability architectures, Capacity Planning Server Storage Consolidation, Server rationalisation, virtualisation and management, Storage rationalisation, virtualisation and management
