Job Description
Hands-On Technical architect required for HMCTS Digital Transformation project supporting the Civil Justice Reform Plan. The specialist will work as Technical Lead for HMCTS Digital transformation projects, developing designs and building code for end-to-end digital services for users, including efficient decision making from other third parties and digital solutions that can be used across other HMCTS services.
Requirements
- Experience of leading technical and developer teams
- Technical expertise in front end development (HTML 5, CSS 3, SASS, Javascript)
- Technical expertise in back end development (SQL Database, Java 8, Node.JS, Java Message Service (JMS) and Apache ActiveMQ)
- In depth experience of designing and implementing enterprise solutions in an Agile environment
- Proven track record and ability in leading/mentoring technical staff
- Sound understanding of software development life cycle models and familiarity of software version control tools (specifically GIT)
- Technical expertise in testing tools and methodology (TDD and Capybara / Selenium, JUnit or TestNG)
