Payroll Specialist

The Payroll Specialist is responsible for generating and processing payroll, reviewing reports for accuracy, and meeting deadlines. The role requires strong organizational and problem-solving skills, as well as proficiency in Excel and payroll software.

Requirements

• An associate's degree or 5+ years of equivalent work experience in accounting, bookkeeping, and payroll-related roles
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles
• Experience with payroll software
• Excellent organizational skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Proficient in Excel (Pivot Table, V-lookups, and advanced formulas)
• Good decision-making and judgment skills
• Good communication skills (verbal and written)
• Ability to work under pressure, meeting critical deadlines
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
