Senior Electrical Engineer

TechnipFMC is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to develop complex electro-mechanical robotics for the subsea industry. The role involves designing and developing electronics for harsh subsea environments, integrating software, firmware, and mechanical systems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong process management, project management, and communication skills in a hybrid work environment.

Requirements

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering plus 7 years experience in electrical design or M.S. in Electrical Engineering plus 5 years experience
• Strong understanding of electronics and their integration with software, firmware, and mechanical systems
• Track record of success in learning, leveraging, and integrating proven technologies
• Previous experience with PCB design software, Altium preferred
• Hands-on PCB troubleshooting and soldering
• Proven teamwork, collaboration, and leadership skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with electrical product safety
• Experience with simulation tools (LTSpice, Matlab/PSIM is preferred)
