Job Description
Technique, Inc. is a Michigan-based company seeking a 2D/3D Laser Tech to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining 2D flatbed laser cutting equipment, programming and setting up equipment, and troubleshooting.
Requirements
- Operating and maintaining TRUMPF 2D and 3D laser equipment
- Material handling – loading and unloading sheet metal with forklifts and cranes
- Programming and setting up TRUMPF 2D and 3D laser equipment – make manual adjustments for cut quality and change cutting paths, troubleshooting
- Document in-process jobs
- Shear/trim sheet metal
- Do surface plate layouts with a variety of inspection tools
- Changing tech tables for better cut conditions
- Follow all safety procedures
