Job Description

The role involves creating CAD models from blueprints, verifying customer models, creating prototypes, designing fixtures, and assisting with machine setup. Requirements
- Create 2D blanks for bending applications
- Create/adjust 2D and 3D models to meet customer requirements
- Create CAD models from customer blueprints, verify customer CAD models to customer blueprints
- Prepare job folders and work instructions for manufacturing
- Design basic restraining gauges and check fixtures
- Generate BOMs
- Communicate professionally with suppliers and customers
- Provide technical feedback on design risks
- Review engineering changes from customers
