Sr GCP Engineer

This Sr GCP Engineer role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, reliable, and secure cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform. Responsibilities include automating infrastructure provisioning, optimizing resource usage, managing CI/CD pipelines, monitoring cloud infrastructure health, and ensuring compliance with security and organizational policies. Collaboration with development, QA, and production teams is key.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or Cloud Engineer
• Hands-on experience managing cloud infrastructure
• Proven experience with Google Cloud Platform services (Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Kubernetes Engine, Pub/Sub, Cloud SQL, etc.)
• Experience automating cloud infrastructure with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Cloud Deployment Manager, Ansible)
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools and processes
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or similar languages
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker) and Kubernetes
• Knowledge of GCP networking, security (IAM, VPC, Firewall rules), and monitoring tools
