Requirements
- Expedite orders and provide status updates as required
- Action all MRP driven exception messages
- Interface with suppliers, engineers, and other departments
- Analyze and process MRP requirements
- Request, evaluate, and negotiate quotes/contracts
- Receive, review, and execute purchase requisitions
- Process and execute purchase orders in accordance with company policy
- Ensure procurement specifications, drawings, and supplemental info is properly transmitted to suppliers
- Coordinate, conduct, and participate in cross functional team meetings
- Provide reporting to support cost reduction and continuous improvement goals
- Maintain up to date system records
- Resolve invoice discrepancies as required
- Coordinate appropriate implementation of ECO changes
- Develop forecasts at multiple levels and over varying time horizons
- Review historical sales trends and provide data to PLM's
- Work with ERP system to develop automated ways to load forecast data
- Develop standard delivery times for key products
- Report forecast variances to production manager
- Recommend forecast adjustments based on statistical data review
- Provide lead time and delivery information to sales
- Working with engineering on phasing in and out of various products
- Reviewing ECO's to ensure proper revisions to products are being produced
- Develop key forecasting processes using the ERP system
