Coating Technician (2nd or 3rd shift)

This position will learn the necessary skills to clean optics and run various vacuum coating chambers that are used to apply and spectrally measure the thin film coatings used in Teledyne FLIR products.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Minimum 1-3 years prior experience in a production environment
• Ability to visually inspect optical components for microscopic defects.
• Ability to handle delicate parts and assist with the cleaning and packing of parts and material.
• Ability to lift 20 lbs. occasionally.
• Ability to use basic shop tools.
• Ability to grip, grasp, and work with hands on product repetitively.
• Willing to work overtime as necessary
• Ability to follow direction and coaching from others.
• Minimal supervision required.
