Optical Test Technician

Be visionary. Test opto-mechanical systems in accordance to manufacturing documentation using a variety of hand tools, measuring devices and test equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or 1-2 years of relevant experience in a similar position/field
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a progressive manufacturing industry
• Optical alignment and test experience desired
• Assembly experience desired
• Ability to read assembly drawings and process instructions
• Experience using standard hand tools – Allen wrenches, screw drivers, torque wrenches, etc.
• Familiarity with computers as applicable to manufacturing
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry objects, often up to 50 pounds
