We are looking for a Test Technician to conduct procedural tests on production, engineering, and qualification products. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of electronics, electrical theories, and Ohm's law, as well as experience in an electrical or electronics manufacturing environment. The role involves troubleshooting setup and product issues, maintaining security for quality verification equipment, and communicating with support teams.
Requirements
- Conducting procedural tests on production/engineering/qualification products
- Understanding and use of all electrical, mechanical, and optical test equipment, test fixtures, and procedures
- Troubleshooting setup/product issues with little to no engineering support
- Maintaining security for all quality verification equipment and its calibration control
- Notifying errors on procedures, drawings, bills of material, and router to the support teams
- Completing documentation (shop packs and FATs) accurately and timely
- Entering data into the IFS system accurately and timely
- Maintaining high quality standards and workmanship
- Maintaining excellent communication and working relationship with all departments within the company
- Maintaining a safe working environment
- Communicating special tooling needed to perform operation that may have not been identified
