Tech_Data Engineer - Especialista Espacio de Datos (Madrid)

Telefónica Tech is seeking a Tech Data Engineer - Data Space Specialist to join their team in ES. The role involves designing and modeling data spaces, leading data governance, and aligning with European standards. The ideal candidate has experience in Data Spaces, Data Governance, and European standards, and is familiar with data catalogs, metadata, ontologies, and semantic standards.

Requirements

• Demonstrable experience in Data Spaces, Data Governance, Data Sharing, federated platforms, or data ecosystems.
• Knowledge of European standards (Gaia-X, DSSC, IDS RAM, FAIR, EUPL, etc.).
• Solid conceptual base in data sovereignty, identity models, traceability, data contracts, and usage policies.
• Capacity for functional design, operational modeling, and conceptual architecture.
• Knowledge of European data regulation (DGA, Data Act, GDPR).
• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams (legal, technical, business).
• Familiarity with data catalogs, metadata, ontologies, and semantic standards.
• Orientation to innovation, strategic thinking, and consultative leadership.
• Experience in public projects, Next Generation EU, or consortia.
• Bachelor's degree, engineering, or degree in computer science, telecommunications, or similar.
• English B2 or equivalent
