Job Description
Telit Cinterion is seeking a Cellular Protocol Engineer to develop cellular modem features for 4G, 5G, and future technologies. The role involves protocol stack analysis, feature implementation, and debugging across various network scenarios, supporting industrial and carrier IoT certification. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is crucial.
Requirements
- Develop and manage protocol-level APIs to support mobile network connectivity and feature enablement based on the solution provider.
- Implement customer-specific features based on a deep understanding of cellular technologies and 3GPP standards.
- Analyze interoperability issues between our modules and mobile networks using protocol logs and standards-based knowledge.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage project requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
- Ensure protocol software quality through log analysis, debugging, and performance tuning.
- Review and interpret network operator requirements to ensure compliance with certification standards.
- Coordinate testing scope and schedules with third-party labs and network operators.
- Analyze UE and TE logs to identify root causes of failed test cases.
- Review test results and maintain communication with test labs and operators throughout the certification process.
