Assistant Scientist

Temple University's Lewis Katz School of Medicine is searching for an Assistant Scientist to serve as a lab manager/technician in a neurobiology laboratory. The lab employs mouse genetics, molecular, cellular, and behavioral approaches to study and restore damaged peripheral and spinal cord nerve connections.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with two years of experience
• 6 months of laboratory experience involving mice
• Master's Degree (preferred)
• Working knowledge of applicable computer software
• Strong organization and record-keeping skills
• Effective communication skills
• Hands-on experience with mouse handling, Western blotting, and RT-PCR
