Medical Lab Tech

At Baylor Scott White Medical Center - Sunnyvale, as a medical lab tech you will process and test laboratory specimens, review and report lab results, and perform operational duties, maintenance and advanced troubleshooting of laboratory instrumentation and equipment.

Requirements

• Ability to function in all areas of the clinical laboratory: blood bank, chemistry, hematology, microbiology, serology/immunology and urinalysis.
• Perform moderate and high-complexity testing.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records on procedures performed for statistics and billing.
• Consult with other departments to collaborate in patient care and performance improvement activities.
• Follow standard precautions and manage laboratory equipment safely and correctly.
