Requirements
- Operate powered forklift trucks, hoists, and other material handling equipment
- Use production paperwork to locate, deliver and place materials in a warehouse environment
- Maintain equipment in good operating order, follow power industrial equipment guidelines and complete start-of-shift inspection checklist
- Demonstrate proficiency to perform within at least 1 area of their function
- Perform a low amount of troubleshooting and adjustment to complete assigned tasks
- Understand and participate in continuous improvement activities
- Perform housekeeping and 5S to keep the department clean, safe, and well organized
- Perform basic warehouse transactions
- Identify problems or potential safety hazards and recommend resolutions
- Maintain safe working habits
- Perform other duties as assigned
