Job Description
Develop welding techniques, welding procedures, and the application of welding equipment to the problems involving fabrication of metals. Provide support to all functional areas where Welding, tooling, maintenance, and fixturing process technology expertise.
Requirements
- Direct and coordinate technical personnel in performing inspections to ensure compliance with established welding procedures, restrictions, and standards
- Develop and implement projects to enhance existing process technology to improve quality and reduce manufacturing cost
- Design and develop prototype tooling to support and evaluate new or revised manufacturing processes
