Data Center Build Engineer

We're seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Data Center Build Engineer to lead and manage the deployment and integration of infrastructure during new data center builds, expansions, and fit-outs. In this critical role, you will be responsible for translating design plans into physical implementations—coordinating the installation of electrical, mechanical, and IT systems to ensure on-time, high-quality, and standards-compliant delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field—or equivalent hands-on experience.
• 5+ years of experience in mission-critical environments, preferably in data center construction or build-out projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and structured cabling systems.
• Familiarity with data center standards (Uptime Institute, TIA-942, ASHRAE) and commissioning practices.
• Proficiency in construction documentation, scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera), and design software (AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Revit is a plus).
• Excellent organizational, communication, and on-site problem-solving skills.
