Instructional Assistant Professor of Counseling Psychology

Texas A&M International University welcomes applicants for an Instructional Assistant Professor of Counseling Psychology to begin Fall 2026. The successful candidate must hold a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology, or a closely related field, and an active clinical license to practice counseling and supervise students in the State of Texas.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology or a closely related field
• Active clinical license (LPC or LP) to practice counseling and supervise students in the State of Texas
• Experience in teaching undergraduate and graduate courses
• Clinical supervision experience for practicum and internship students
• Knowledge of Counseling Psychology graduate program requirements
