Dean, College of Business

Texas A&M University—Texarkana is seeking an inaugural Dean of the College of Business to provide strategic and visionary leadership, increase research profile, and support academic excellence, student success, and community leadership.

Requirements

• Earned doctorate in Management, Marketing, Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Business and Data Analytics, Business Information Systems (MIS), or General Business
• A record of successful administrative experience and leadership in a university setting at the level of Department Chair/Head or higher
• Demonstrated evidence of administrative knowledge and skills/abilities
• Minimum of eight (8) years teaching experience in higher education
• Experience with academic and professional accreditation processes (e.g., AACSB)
• Demonstrated excellence in research resulting in publication
• Experience with student recruitment
• Experience with strategic planning
• Experience with undergraduate and graduate-level curriculum development, program development, implementation, and evaluation
• Ability to travel and work beyond regular office hours
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
