Postdoctoral Research Associate position at Texas A&M University Health Science Center, conducting research into clinical research with behavioral and neuroscience outcomes pertaining to the use of low-intensity focused ultrasound in human subjects.
Requirements
- Hold a doctoral degree (Ph.D) in a relevant field from an accredited institution
- 6 years of experience in Neuroscience
- Doctoral work in the area of Neurosciences and/or Network Analysis
- Ability to perform advanced structural and functional image analysis
- Ability to perform Free Surfer analyses for structural brain images
- Ability to perform whole-brain probabilistic tractography preferably with MRtrix3
- Ability to perform advanced fMRI preprocessing with fMRIPrep pipeline (inBIDS -Brain Imaging Data Structure -environment)
- Ability to perform seed-to-voxel and voxel-to-voxel functional fMRI connectivity analysis with AFNI, CONN, and SPM
- Familiarity with low-intensity focused ultrasound modeling to establish actual tissue energy delivery (preferably with Babel Brain or embedded in Brain sight neuro navigation system, or k-wave)
- Ability to perform advanced complex network analysis (preferably with experience on NetworkX)
- Ability to obtain advanced graphics (e.g. seaborn)
- Code in Python, C and BASH
