The Research Assistant will lead outreach, coordination, training, and data collection efforts for an NIH-funded, multi-site clinical trial evaluating a resilience training program for first responders.
Requirements
- B.S. in Psychology or closely related field
- Experience as a volunteer or career first responder of military service member
- Experience working with first responders or in community-based settings
- Experience with trauma-informed research, practice, and/or behavioral health assessments
- Available for frequent in-state travel and flexible work hours
- Experience using REDCap (or related software) for data entry, management, and reporting
- Experience preparing, submitting, and maintaining IRB applications and regulatory documentation
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Strong initiative and problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to evolving project needs
- Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary research team
- Proficiency with data management and reporting platforms
- Management of data and communications with attention to detail and accuracy
