The Research Program Associate I will support Dr. Farhy's lab and contribute to daily operations, animal care, reagent preparation, and student training. The role involves executing experiments, data analysis, and technical evaluation of research experiments and results.
Requirements
- Assists in the design, planning, and coordinating of experiments
- Selects and applies standard techniques of routine research
- Uses computers and laboratory or technical equipment to perform data analysis
- Evaluates and summarizes results
- Select and arrange meeting facilities and equipment for meetings and special events
- General lab duties, purchasing, autoclave, animal maintenance
- Maintaining an accurate laboratory notebook, writing manuscripts, contributing to grant proposal, presenting findings
- Training new personnel on lab procedures
- Assists undergraduate and/or graduate students and other laboratory, technical or field staff involved in research
