Assistant Professor or Higher Cardiovascular Disease (Internal Med)

Contributes to the university's mission through teaching, research and service, some variation by academic unit. Provides cardiology in-patient care, outpatient care, and in-patient consultation services. Supervises and teaches students and residents in both in-patient and outpatient care. Engages in advancement of scientific knowledge through research and/or scholarship.

Requirements

• Board certification in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine
• Board certification in Cardiovascular Disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine
• Board certification in Interventional Cardiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine
• Experience teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Regional or emerging national reputation for the rank of associate professor or higher
