Assistant Professor or Higher (Pathology) position at the Paul L. Foster School of Medicine, requiring teaching, research, and clinical duties, with a focus on pediatric pathology. Requirements
- Board certification in pediatric pathology by the American Board of Pathology
- Two or more years post-residency experience in pediatric pathology practice
- Experience in teaching medical students and residents
- M.D. or D.O. degree
- Successful completion of ACGME-accredited fellowship program in Pediatric Pathology
- Board certification in anatomic and clinical pathology by the American Board of Pathology
- Unrestricted Texas Medical License, or eligible for Texas Medical licensure
- Experience in pediatric pathology sign-outs
- Experience in general surgical pathology sign-outs
- Experience in the interpretation of frozen sections
- Experience in the performance and interpretation of bone marrows
- Experience in grossing and in performing autopsies
