Coding & Reimburs Spec

Coding and reimbursement specialist responsible for accurate coding and billing of patient encounters, collaborating with providers to communicate coding updates and ensure compliance with current guidelines.

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalency required
• A combination of coding and reimbursement or Medical billing experience, preferably in a physician group or health care institution to equal two years
• Current coding certification from the American Association of Professional Coders (AAPC) or the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA)
