Texcell is seeking a motivated Business Development Manager to expand its viral clearance, custom cell culture, and viral safety testing services across the West Coast. The role involves building client relationships, generating new business, and driving regional revenue growth.
Requirements
- Develop and execute strategic business plan for territory to achieve or exceed annual revenue targets.
- Manage portfolio of existing accounts; strengthen relationships, expand target areas, and ensure retention.
- Identify, qualify, and win new business within target segments.
- Lead full-cycle sales activities: prospecting, discovery, technical positioning, solution scoping with internal team, quote generation, negotiation, and close.
- Secure new business and expansion deals while administering MSAs, work orders, and renewals in collaboration with Commercial Operations and other business partners.
- Ensure smooth project hand-off to Operations post-sale; monitor client satisfaction and assist with issue resolution.
- Maintain accurate CRM hygiene (e.g., customer interactions, sales activities, opportunity pipeline) and deliver reliable forecasts.
- Represent company at regional conferences, webinars, and industry events; capture voice-of-customer, competitive intelligence, and market trends for internal stakeholders.
- Contribute to thought leadership (e.g., case studies, white papers, conference abstracts) as required.
- Travel within territory ranges from 25% to 50%, depending on business needs and regional events.
