Senior Backend Engineer

We're Teya, a payment and software service provider looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to shape our technology, drive innovation, and deliver a seamless experience for our merchants across Europe.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Solid understanding of backend systems, scalable architectures, and software design principles
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles, data structures, and algorithms
• Experience with multiple languages and databases (relational and non-relational)
• Experience working with version control (Git), continuous integration, and deployment pipelines
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and mentoring skills
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
• Ability to work well as part of a team and independently in a fast-paced environment
• Fluent in English
