Job Description
The Aerospace Corporation is seeking a 3D Remote Sensing and Modeling Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will develop and use innovative techniques and tools for applications including image chain modeling, lidar/ladar and 3D remote sensing, change detection and space domain awareness, product quality metrics, optics, calibration, and data simulation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related STEM field
- Eight years, post bachelor's degree, experience with lidar/ladar and collection and processing of 3D point clouds and digital elevation models
- Scientific programming and version control skills, ideally C++, Python, and git
- Communication expertise, including building and delivering technical briefings and simplifying complex technical topics
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI security clearance
