Electrical Power Engineer

The Aerospace Corporation is seeking an Electrical Power Engineer to join their team in solving some of today's hardest problems and help evolve their capabilities in meeting the technical challenges of tomorrow. The position requires experience with the design, development, and operations of electrical power infrastructure.

Requirements

• Provide technical expertise in identifying innovative technologies and operational enhancements to improve design, safety, resiliency/reliability and cost efficiency
• Develop and implement advanced analytical techniques to evaluate facility systems and optimize overall electrical systems performance
• Employ a rigorous and methodical approach to problem solving and root cause determination
• Deliver independent, data-driven technical recommendations to management and customers through effective verbal and written communication
• Travel to customer and/or government facilities while representing the company and department in a professional manner
