Job Description
The Aerospace Corporation is seeking a Senior RF Signal and Image Processing Engineer to join the Mission Payloads Division (MPD) in Chantilly, VA. The successful candidate will create and evolve SAR image formation processors, model and evaluate radar imaging, detection and tracking applications, and advance high-impact projects. This role requires a strong background in advanced mathematics, experience with modeling and simulation of space-based SAR, radar, or RF performance, and the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited program in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Geophysics, Imaging Sciences or related technical discipline
- 5 or more years of relevant RF signal and image processing experience
- Strong background in advanced mathematics including Fourier transforms, differential equations, and estimation theory
- Experience with modeling and simulation of space-based SAR, radar, or RF performance
