The Director of Finance will provide leadership and oversight of the foundation's operational and financial functions, prepare financial statements and reports, and maintain strong internal financial controls.
Requirements
- Post-secondary education in accounting, finance, business administration, nonprofit management, or a related field
- Professional accounting designation (CPA) or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in financial management, accounting, or operational leadership
- Experience in nonprofit financial management, fund accounting, or charitable organizations
- Experience managing audits, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance
- Experience with bookkeeping systems, accounting software, and financial reporting tools
- Valid drivers license and ability to travel locally and regionally as required
- Clear criminal record check and vulnerable sector search are required
