Accounting Director

The Director of Accounting reports to the Deputy Executive Director and provides essential administrative, clerical, and operational leadership to the Accounting Department.

Requirements

• Assist with department scheduling, meeting preparation, and calendar coordination
• Support internal and external communications on behalf of the accounting team
• Track and manage key departmental deadlines, such as AP cycles, reporting schedules, and annual filings
• Monitor office inventory for the accounting team and place orders as needed
• Identify opportunities to streamline administrative processes and improve organizational efficiency
• Special accounting projects as needed
• Manage current and prior year file cabinets organized and prepare as necessary for following year
