Job Description
The Surgery Scheduler at Redbank Orthopedics is responsible for managing patient and physician schedules, providing clerical support, and administrative tasks. This role involves ordering and handling correspondence, managing patient records, and coordinating travel. The position requires confidentiality and discretion.
Requirements
- Manages daily patient and physician scheduling using appropriate systems.
- Answers telephone calls and manages correspondence.
- Verifies referrals and performs pre-certifications.
- Checks out and manages patients, answering questions and scheduling follow-up appointments.
- Maintains cash drawer and reconciles balances.
