Job Description
The Common Market is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Distribution Lead to support Farm Food Hub operations in Chicago, Illinois. The role involves managing daily warehouse activities, ensuring accurate order fulfillment, supervising packing and shipping, and identifying areas for operational efficiency improvements. This is a full-time position with weekend hours.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in warehouse or logistics operations, preferably in the food industry
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills
- 2+ years order selector experience
- 2+ years receiving experience
- Certified forklift operator
- Knowledge of inventory management systems
- Understanding of food safety regulations
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
- Ability to lift 50lbs
