Job Description
The Operations Manager will be a key role ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the local food supply chain. This position involves overseeing procurement, production planning, and supplier vetting, with a focus on food safety compliance, waste reduction, and operational leadership within the food safety program. The role collaborates with a dedicated team to connect farms with local customers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in supply chain management, procurement, or food operations.
- Strong knowledge of food safety programs (SQF, HACCP, GAP, GMPs).
- Proven ability to manage procurement cycles and production planning.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and mission-driven environment.
