Job Description
The Assistant Director of Campus Security (ADCS) assists the Director in implementing campus security policies, managing campus security officers and law enforcement, and ensuring student safety. The ADCS also acts as the emergency team assistant and may act as the Director's replacement when needed. They will oversee parking, traffic, and potential hazards, and manage budget and departmental operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice or related field (preferred)
- Peace Officer’s Certification (TCOLE) preferred
- Minimum twelve years’ combined experience in law enforcement, security, and/or emergency management
- Two years in a supervisory role
- Texas DPS PSB Level III License within 60 days of employment
- Ability to carry a firearm and maintain proficiency
- Successful completion of employment background screening
- Valid state driver license
