Court Reporter

The Excalibur Group is seeking a trained Court Reporter to create and maintain accurate records of legal proceedings. The candidate will work in an autonomous setting, providing reliable transcripts for courts, depositions, and other legal settings.

Requirements

• Must be a licensed stenographer
• Must possess the technology to accurately take depositions, videography, and hearings
• Must provide certified reporters experienced in transcribing depositions and hearings
• Must possess the capability to attend, record information, and provide transcription services for depositions and hearings, if requested
• Must provide all supplies necessary for accurate and complete reporting of a proceeding
• Strong attention to detail
• Reliably punctual and deadline-oriented
• Typically works in a courtroom or legal setting
• Must be able to handle the stress of fast-paced legal proceedings
• Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills
• Excellent English language skills
• Proficient with technology and typing
• Bachelor’s degree, bonus for foreign language education
• Ability to pass security screening for access to client sites, including government buildings
